template error message...

Hello I am very new to this and would like some help.

I get this error message when I try to make a change to my
page, it tells me that Dreamweaver can not make changes unless I
insert this code into the head section of the template document. I
went ahead and did exactly what it told me to do and now when I
preview the page in firefox this code shows up at the top of the
document. What does this mean? And I checked out the code to see
just whazt it might be and noticed that there are two head sections
... here's the code:

template error message...

You are misreading that. The proper interpretation of it is
that it tells

you that the changes you just made to the template WILL NOT
PROPAGATE to the

child pages UNLESS you add that code. It is a warning, not an
error

message.

%26gt; What does this mean?

It means you inserted the line improperly.

What are you trying to accomplish?
