Change order of movie clips

I have flash document with 4 movie clips. I want the user
(not on the web) to be able to rearrange the order of the clips by
dragging the thumbnails in play order from left to right. They
would then be able to save the document for playing later. The next
time they play the movie, they could rearrange the movies and save
the order for playing at a future time. Can anyone point me in the
right direction for tutorials to read that might help me accomplish
this? I know how to drag objects, but having those objects control
the play order and the saving of the play order is what I don't
know how to do. I have seen this done before though. Thanks,
