1st of all i hope this is the right part of the forum to ask
my question
Here is my problem
I have DW 8 and yesterday i installed Vista. I use DW as
hobby to create some sites just to please myself;)
When i had Win XP everytime i created a site in the Remote
Info ( and to be precise in the Remote Folder gap ) , i filled it
with
''c:\Inerpub\wwwroot\MYSITE\
i did this cuz i had installed the IIS server from the extra
install options of the win xp.
I hoped the same thing happened to Vista but there is no such
thing.
and this is my prob.
how can i upload the files to a local network to test and
finish the site before i actually upload to the server
do vista already have the IIS server but is named
differently?Or there is a new way to do it?
i have Vista Ultimate if this matters at all
NOTE. i have no knoledge on networks etc etc. i found about
the IIS server and how to configure DW to use it from various DW
books.
guys i dont know if i ask noobish things. i am sorry if i do
P.S i noticed when i run DW in Vista in the right menu there
is an FTP and RDS server option that there was not there in XP.
does this have anything to do with my problem?
thank u in advance for any replies

DW8 works OK in Vista, even with IE7.
