i have an mp4 video i'd like to display on a webpage. I'd
like to place it in a skin that looks like a tv and from what ive
read elsewhere flash is the way to do this. Do i need to convert
this mp4 to FLV or can I import and mp4 or am I totally in the
wrong direction?

i have done this once. i had to convert the mp4 to swf. i
dont know about flash video. google mp4 to flash or mp4 to swf.

You can use Flash 8 Professional to convert your video to a
.flv file. You can then play that flv file inside any flash movie
(swf) by using our FlvPayback component.
However; the easiest way to get your video into flash is to
use our video import wizard. Go to file-%26gt;import-%26gt;import
video. Then just follow the steps.
