MX, MX 2004 quit at start up

I have Studio 8 and have been using it almost exclusively. I
also have MX, and MX04 installed. I use to be able to use these
apps in conjunction with 8, however, every time I try to start MX
and MX04 now they quit just as the ''Start Page'' shows.



I have deleted the prefs and reinstalled but to no avail.
Anyone have a fix? I need the set some files back to MX for
clients.
