I am doing a webpage for an auction. I use an image from an
image hosting website using the image's http URL. I can't have the
image displayed in dreamweaver (the image can be displayed in any
web browser, like Firefox or I.E). If i use an image on my local
computer, instead of from online, it is ok. How should I do with
this? thanks in advance. Not display image from URL
Not sure what you mean here? But, if you want to show an
image, which is housed in a separate server other than the server
housing your Web site, all you need to do is use the absolute uri
of the hosting services image. If you use an absolute uri, and you
make sure that the image folder and file reference is correct the
image will show up when you upload your Web page. Dreamweaver
cannot show an image that is housed on a remote server.
The hosting agent will ensue that you have the correct
permissions to reference their image as long as you have arranged
this with them in advance.

What version of DW are you running? I believe that displaying
remote images in design view was first implemented in DW8. But you
do need to make sure that option is selected.
I am using DW8. You mentioned that an option needs to be
selected, what option here you mean? thanks.
Commands %26gt; Display External Files
Somehow, under the Command menu in my DW8 design view, I
can't find--%26gt;display external files. Thanks.
