D8 images

I am trying to self teach myself Dreamweaver 8. I am using an
old MX version training dvd. ( I have limited knowledge in MX) I
know that it is different, but it is not that much off the beaten
trail. How do I bring in images into my file folder ''images''? I
tried to drag them in. I looked under the menu bars, etc.

Thanks,

Use Explorer/Finder to drag them in. Or Insert them onto your
page from

wherever they are (using DW), and you will be prompted to
copy them into

your site.

DMX was quite different from DW8....

Thanks, but I am using Mac. my drag feature does not work
when I try and drag some jpg's from my desktop. When I open ''manage
sites'' I get the jpg in my images folder. I don't know how I did
that. Any suggestions?

DD
Drag works when you use FINDER. Don't try it inside of DW.

Pardon my lack of DW jagon. but what do you mean by finder?

Lost in DW

DD

Finder is Macintosh's file manager, like Explorer is Windows'
file manager.

The point is, do this operation outside of DW. Just drag and
drop the

images onto the images folder in your site's local root
folder.
